I to am a 3x great granddaughter of Emma Munt and Thomas Hawkins. I have a family tree on a few sites which grows daily, a photo of Emma Munt and possibly Thomas too. I’d love for someone to tell me which one of my inherited photos is Thomas, or for other people to share their photos.
I’d love to hear from any of you.

Hi, I am trying to reach Tracey Farish, who has posted on this page, as I am also a descendant of Luigi Landi (Thomas Hawkins) I would love to get in touch to swap stories, and add her to my family page on facebook.. Please can you pass this on, with my email address if possible…

I am researching relatives…..I was nee Hawkins. My GGG Grandfather came from Italy and then Stevenage. His name was Luigi Landi, but he changed it to Hawkins. He married a cleaner, Emma Munt, from the White Lion. I thought this was the White Lion Stevenage but I am beginning to think it was Walkern as Luigi changed his name to match that of his employer who I believe was a Judge called John Hawkins. As Assizes were held in the upstairs rooms of the White Lion at the time – around 1860-65…this seems to fit. Does anyone have any info, I would be very grateful.
I am the granddaughter of Emma Curtis who was one of Thomas Hawkins and Emma Munt’s 14 children. My mother was also called Emma and she was one of 12 children my grandmother had during her long marriage to Albert Curtis. I do have some family history and also a copy of the obituary to Thomas Hawkins who was born Luigi Landi.
My mother had five brothers and six sisters named as follows:
Albert Curtis who changed his surname to Hawkins
Alfred Curtis
Francis Curtis
Harry Curtis
Arthur Curtis
Margaret Curtis
Alice Curtis
Kitty Curtis
Eileen Curtis
Emma Curtis
Whilamena Curtis
Doris Curtis
Hope this helps and I do have other info on great Aunt Mary Somerville also one of the 14 children born to Emma Munt and Thomas Hawkins.
