Edie Green September 20, 2019 at 8:06 pm: I was going through my family history and came across, a great (I don’t know how many generations back) grandfather was a Reverend at there. Reverend John Gorsuch married to Lady Anne Lovelace Gorsuch. Do you have any family history on them?

I have traced my ancestry to the Peermans, Cranes, and Young’s in Walkern and Ardeley. I live in the US so I am remote. Also interested in purchasing the book “A History Tour of Walkern”. Please let me know any information.

I know of atleast one article on here that is most probably one of your relatives under the Social History section (then Fire, Storm, Accident and Flood) involving a tree falling on the leg of a George Aylott in 1851 and breaking it (ouch)!
